In this study of spreading the technology of dairy catheter AI and frozen embryos transfer, a series of systematical training was performed to improve the level of AI technology of crew. More than 40000 shares catheter frozen semen produced by excellent dairy bull was spread to production. The average milk producing performance of offspring cow increased at above 1000kg. Pregnancy rate was improved from 30~40% to 55%. The economical benefit was increased by 5500,000 $ (RMB), and 6687450$(RMB) fee of feed was saved. Among all kinds of techniques of AI, catheter AI is the most convenience means. Its operation is simple in practice and would not induce more genital diseases.The ratio of offspring female calf was increased by 21.93% when sex control solution was applied, so that additive economical benefit achieved at 2312000$(RMB).The trial result of frozen embryos transfer to low production cows is as follows: the total number of embryo transfer cows is 13 heads. 6 heads cow was then pregnant, and 3 male & 2 female calves were born successfully.Through the application of embryo transfer technology, the technique level and specialty quality of workers in ChengDu city increased significantly, and the traditional backward concept of farmers, who engage in dairy production, had been changed into modern view.
