| With the great development in Micro—electronics Technology and Information Science,the traditional information collection technology and instruments used in Agriculture is also changed towards much more automated and more intelligent. Howerver, as a whole, many problems still exist, such as farmland information acquisition are relatively less advanced with low efficient, difficult routing, high cost, distance limitation, restricted network access permission in data remote transmission, and difficult management in monitoring center because of excessive equipments and dispersed distributing.Based on the practical conditions of our country's agriculture production and the problems of farmland information collection and management system (FICMS),a romote data collection system used for farmland was proposed and designed,and the design of this system were based on the technology of General Packet Radio Service(GPRS), the Embedded System of Advanced RISC Machines (ARM)&Linux,modem sensor, advanced information management and publishing system.It intented to provide new ways for collecting and managing farm scene information.The significance of this system combined with advantages of traditional data collection method was constructing a hierarchical network model,and the model based on the technology of GPRS and Intetnet realized that the various farm scene information was transmissed,identified and managed more efficient. It not only improves these tranditional problems, but also can support service of data query for Internet users.So it could provide a platform and supports for regions and schemes determination, rational distribution of field crops, artificial regulation of microclimate, crop cultivation and agrometeorological Forecasting service,and the system combining the function of meteorological information collection with the function of crop photo collection,which made monitoring information richer and more visually attractive.,which was also convenient for decision-making of users.As an application system,it took the practical application into account.The result of experiment in the Agricultural Information Laboratory of Kunming University of Science and Technology shows that the proposed architecture is effective and efficient, and the given software and hardware design is feasible.The established remote collection system is flexible to be extended or reduced, and its technical parameters can be up to actual demand for remote monitoring of farm scene information.Main research contents and results are:(1)Investigated and analysised the actual situation and existing problems of the farmland information collection at home and abroad based on lots of datum,and probed to the objective and significance of research. In conclusion, the FICMS based on embedded system and wireless network is the main trend.(2)The characteristics and applications of embedded systems were studied in-depth,The architecture and development of ARM processor, the characteristics and classification of embedded operating system,the key technologies related to system development were studied and researched by fuether more.The Embedded Software Platform was setted up, the process of compiling and curing bootloader and linux kernel,loading file system were complished.(3)A remote collection terminal based on the technology of ARM and GPRS was designed,which include core board, meteorological information collectionmodule,crop image acquistion module,GPRS wireless communication module,ect,and the software of those modules were also designed.The meteorological information and crop image could be collected,saved,pretreated and wireless transmissed regularly by the terminal.(4)Programming with VB.NET and SQL Server, the farm scene information management system was developed. Furthermore, the system can provide data query services for licensed Internet users, the farm scene information WEB publishing system was developed by ASP.NET. |
