Based on single-column roadway stacker made by Taiyuan Gangyu Group for Mengniu Dairy Group , a three-dimensional stacker model is established by SolidWorks. Firstly, the strength, stiffness and contact force is analyzed by finite element software of Msc. Marc at start and stop when the stacker is fully loaded, and the stress, stiffness and contact force is obtained when the stacker is under different conditions and in different acceleration. Secondly, the critical buckling load of stacker is obtained by buckling analysis. Finally, the stacker is simulated by SolidWorks and restraining force is obtained at start and stop when the stacker is fully loaded, furthermore, the stability of the goods and restraining force are obtained when the cargo running along the straight and the curvilinear path. The results of the finite element analysis show that the design of the strength of the Column to such extent as may be necessary guarantees the stacker's smooth operation. When the stacker reaches the start acceleration 0.8 m/s2 , stiffness value is close to the allowable limit. The results of buckling analysis show that the high stability of the stacker in the run-time ensures the stacker's normal and stable work high security reserves. The results of simulation show that the track can provide enough power to ensure that the friction between the track and beams meets the equipments of the normal operation of the stacker. And that the stacker can be smoothly started, accelerated, decelerated and stopped in accordance with the design requirements without derailing. And the stability of the goods is better when the cargo running along the concave curve than along the straight and curvilinear path. The new method is used to analyze the dynamic problems of the stacker. The problems of the stacker's serviceability and security can be detected and then solved by computer simulation at the design stage ,which provides theoretical references for over-all properties of the stacker and the frequency control of motor speed of the transducer, and helps to lower design costs and improve design standard .
