With the progress of aviation technology, the factor of pilot has been becoming one of the issues that restrict the level of aircraft cockpit design greatly. The design of aircraft cockpit, which acts as the Man-Machine interactive interface is of great research value.The author utilizing advanced CAD technology, combining the intersecting knowledge with Man-Machine engineering , Robotics ,Aero-Human-Engineering, etc, has exploited corresponding modules, such as the simulation of pilot manipulation, vision checkout, vision simulation, accessibility calculation, manipulation force calculation, and established a set of subsystem of Aircraft-Cockpit-Design on the platform of CATIA.The subsystem is integrated in the CAD system of CATIA, and applies kinematics 3D-manikin and mechanics 3D-manikin in different phase of aircraft cockpit design, and acquires perfect kinematics and mechanics results of pilot. The subsystem whose interface is friendly and utilization is directly, enriches the methods by which the designer estimates an aircraft cockpit design, and enhances the design efficiency and precision.
