| In this paper ,the both types of VOCs emission were studied. About the natural emission, its emission mechanism and the its quantity in Shanghai were studied. Then the VOCs' distribution was simulated using ADMS and Maplnfo. The Environmental Risk Assessment was executed for the accidental emission, its quantity, incidence and damage were studied. In this paper, different emission estimating equations was presented according to the different emission mechanisms of tanks. The result shows, every year there are 2756 tons of VOCs emission from companys' tanks. Two huge petrochemical companys' contribution is prominent, they are 1756 tons per year and 685 tons per year. According to this result of estimating, , the concentration of VOCs was simulated with ADMS, then the distribution of VOCs was analyzed with Maplnfo. Then achieved the following conclusions: there are the 995 km~2 in Shanghai with its VOCs concentration under 0. 1ug/m~3, take up 15.69% of this city; the region of 4363 km~2 with its VOCs concentration from 0.1 to Iug/m~3,take up 68.82; the region of 948 km~2 with its VOCs concentration is from lug/m~3 to 10ug/m~3,take up 14.95%; the region of 38 km~2 with its VOCs concentration from 10 to 100ug/m~3 take up 0.50%; the region of 2km~2 with its VOCs concentration exceed 100ug/m~3,take up 0.03% area of this city. The ERA processes were executed using ALOHA & MARPLOT on benzene tank. Under different stability classes, the quantity of accident leak and its diffuse region and damage to human bodies were studied. The result shows, there are at least 0.03 km~2 exposed to the VOCs concentration ≥ 11000mg/m~3, under the dangerous condition of losing their lives; on the other hand, there are 0.10 km~2 exposed to the VOCs concentration≥ 11000mg/m~3. It is seriously damage to peoples' organs and lives who exposed to these concentration.According to above study, the measures and advices were presented to reduce VOCs emissions from each tank, to reduce the environmental risk of tanks. This study offered a new opinion and valuable advices for tanks management. |
