It is discovered from the data and professional information that the differences of reservoir permeability and non-homogeneousness of reservoir are the main reasons lead to the different effects in Hydrophobic Associating Water-Soluble Polymer flooding. This dissertation mostly studies the relationships between the effects of polymer flooding and non-homogeneousness and permeability of reservoir, especially the compatibility between the effects of polymer flooding and low-permeability reservoir. This dissertation is significant in the application of Hydrophobic Associating Water-Soluble Polymer.The results of experiment that investigates the flowing of Hydrophobic Associating Water-Soluble Polymer solution in series connection core under the condition of non-homogeneous reservoir show, 1) the Hydrophobic Associating Water-Soluble Polymer solution possesses good injectivity under the simulated reservoir, 2) the resistance factors of the first three parts of core are 54.67, 31.69 and 22.5 respectively, which keeping a rather high level of resistance factor, 3) the residual resistance factor of polymer solution is between 23. The results indicate that Hydrophobic Associating Water-Soluble Polymer solution would have good flooding effect when flowing in the porous media.The results of experiment that investigates the flowing of Hydrophobic Associating Water-Soluble Polymer solution in parallel connection core under the condition of non-homogeneous reservoir show, 1) the more the differences of permeability, the greater the differences of each zones develop. 2) the EOR level of the two parallel connection cores reach 8.12%OOIP and 7.53%OOIP respectively, which indicate that under the condition of non-homogeneous reservoir the Hydrophobic Associating Water-Soluble Polymer flooding can regulate the conflict between zones, expand swept volume and enhance the recovery of reservoir.The research on compatibility between the effect of polymer and permeability of reservoir shows that in the range of permeability (10×10-3 μm2-100 × 10 -3 μm2 ) , the effect of Hydrophobic Associating Water-Soluble Polymer flooding is gradually improved with the increase of permeability while there is a critical point existing.
