Iron-nickel alloys have excellent mechanical and soft magnetic properties and they have been widely used in low-frequency magnetic shielding field. With the development of equipment for lightweight and miniaturization, the magnetic shielding materials developed towards the thin films. The main methods for preparation of Fe-Ni alloy magnetic shielding films are magnetron sputtering and electrodeposition method among which the latter method is a economical and practical method. In this thesis strip and continuous thin films were prepared by electrodeposition method.(1) The electrodeposition of Fe-Ni alloy was studied by using electrochemical method, the influence of different parameters on the polarization behavior of Fe-Ni alloy was investigated. It provides a theoretical basis and research orientation for the design of process parameters.(2) The effects of Fe2+ and Ni2+ concentration ratio, pH, temperature, current density of the bath on the iron content of the coatings were studied. The phase constitution, morphology, internal stress, magnetic and shielding properities of the coatings were characterized. Through the optimal process parameters, stripping iron-nickel alloy thin films with promising properties were obtained.(3) By the compositional changes in plating solution and coatings, a suitable anode system was obtained, and the dynamic balance of the plated metal ion concentration in the plating bath was maintained. The other factors that influence the stability of plating solution, such as the change of the pH value and additives consumption were studied. The plan for maintaining the stability of Fe-Ni alloy electroplating solution was put forward, and the experimental basis for continuous electrodeposited Fe-Ni alloy films was provided.(4) According to the preparation method of small iron-nickel alloy film sample, a experimental electrodeposition setup which can prepare continuous thin films was manufactured. The continuous Fe-Ni alloy films were prepared.
