| Three-column centrifuge is usually used for the separation of the mixture of solid and liquid, it is the most popular vertical centrifugal equipment in medicine, food and other industries. Its operating speed is usually below 2000 rpm, which belongs to the low-speed centrifugal equipment, and its low speed greatly limits the centrifugal effect and application of this kind of centrifuge. The vibration suppression problem is always a difficult problem, which is faced by the relevant manufacturers for a long time. Study on dynamic characteristics of the three-column centrifuge and methods of noise and vibration suppression are still at the starting stage based on domestic and foreign published literatures.This issue is based on the three-column centrifuge of SS300. Forces that act on the suspension system are analyzed, with the help of Lagrange’s equation, the vibration model of the three-column centrifuge is developed. It is founded that the natural frequency of three-column centrifuge can be significantly divided into the low frequency and the high frequency after modal analysis. The characteristics of each order natural frequency are also studied, the influence the length of pendulum rod on the natural frequency is also analyzed. The dynamic characteristics of the system and the damping effect of the main damping components on three-column centrifuge are analyzed through numerical simulations.The overturning phenomenon of the three-column centrifuge is studied based on the vibration model. Forces that act on the working system on the steady stage are analyzed and the critical condition of overturning phenomenon is studied. The overturn-speed and the overturn-torque are solved. The overturn model is modified in the consideration of the motor eccentric. The effect of the mass of the eccentric load, the height of eccentric load centroid, and the height of the working system on the overturn-speed is analyzed.The working principle of the ball balancer is analyzed and the damping effect of the ball balancer is also analyzed with the typical two-ball model of the ball balancer, after that, the dynamic equation which contains the ball balancer is established. The overturn-speed and the overturn-torque are solved after the study on the effect of the ball balancer to overturning phenomenon. The effect of the mass of eccentric load, the mass of balls, the height of ball balancer to overturning phenomenon are studied. At the same time, the damping effect of the ball balancer on three-column centrifuge is analyzed. The damping effect of the mass of balls and the height of the ball balancer on the working system are also studied.Finally, the vibration experiment of the three-column centrifuge is carried out to verify the damping effect of the ball balancer. |
