Auto finance is a kind of financial derivatives which serves auto production, auto circulation and auto consumption. Auto financial service is popular in advanced countries, and is becoming a new competitive approach for all big auto producers to gain more profits. Since 1920's, USA began to strive to develop auto credits, which invigorated the auto-purchasing market of that day. This not only reduced the consumers'financial pressure, activated consumption, but also accelerated the development of American auto industry. In 1993, The North ordnace Golf car dealers self-financed to offer the first auto paying in installment service, which became the prelude of Chinese auto financial service. Our auto financial service industry experienced a few years'quick development, and brought the annual increasing of auto credits. But at the same time, it also brought the risks. Chinese individual credit management system is just installed, and Chinese people is very weak in the understanding of individual credit, plus relative laws lag and lack, credit assessment & credit vetting system previously fall behind of the advanced countries. The commercial banks, auto dealers, auto accounting companies and auto financing companies lack mature experience & system in preventing credit risks, management risks, etc, and have many mis-understanding & hindrance in handling aspect.So, the risks management to consumption credit becomes the core issue of our auto financial risks management. For this purpose, this essay researches the auto financial credit risks management to serve auto producers, auto dealers, commercial banks and auto financial service companies. In theory aspect, we have gotten much fruitful theory progress about the research of auto finance. But, the researching about the consumption credit risks management in Chinese auto finance is very little, so systemic, thorough & highly targeted discussion does not appear. Therefore, we hope the researching to the credit risks management could be useful to the risks management research of the competitors in the auto financial market, and valuable to the improvement of Chinese auto financial market managing system.Therefore, this text chooses auto financial consumption credit risks management as researching object, under the interdisciplinary background, taking economics, finance, risks management, and insurance theory as basic theory tools, utilizing positive research, normative research, comparative research and case research, in the two aspects of theory and reality, makes a new perspective, academically religious, close to Chinese reality, thorough, systemic and deeper discussion.The whole text consists of four chapters, the main points are as below:Introduction, It introduces the researching background and researching implication of this essay. Through the introducing the structure of this essay and arranging the contents, it mainly researches the consumption credit risk management in the auto financial risks management, and serves the increasing auto consumption market.First chapter, it introduces the definition and function of auto finance. Through lots of charts & data, particularly introduces the developing course and current developing status of auto financial service industry in our country and foreign countries, and point out the risks exist in auto financial consumption credits and the origins of the risks.Second chapter, it analyzes the consumption credits risks management in our auto financial service industry. Through the positive analyzing to the auto credits risks management of commercial banks & auto financial companies, summarizes the characteristics of their credits risks management, concludes the similar problems in them, and forms the countermeasures to auto financial credits risks management, which will appear in the forth chapter.Third chapter, it analyzes the management types to auto consumption credits in advanced countries. By introducing the advanced management types to auto financial consumption credits in USA and Japan, it presents the reference value to our auto finance, and comparatively concludes that we urgently need to have the auto financial consumption credits risks management. Forth chapter, it presents the ideas and countermeasures to improve the risks management to auto financial consumption credits. First is to set up scientific system for auto financial consumption credit risk management. Second is to analyze how to improve our credit environment, and construct our credit system; Last is to present the specific measures to improve our auto financial consumption credits risk management.
