On The Development Of Characteristic Industrial Parks In Chongqing From Clusters Perspective

Characteristic industrial park is a new type of industrial park,which can promote concentration and integration of the same industry,forming the industry competitive advantage,so it's a major and effective form to develop regional economy in many countries.In 2000,Chongqing started the strategy of characteristic industrial park,which made a significant contribution for Chongqing economic development. However,the concentration of large quantity of business enterprises in the characteristic industrial Parks will not necessarily form the colony effect.The development of the characteristic industrial park depends on the industry connection and gathering of business enterprises inside the park.Industrial clusters,an special form of organization which is useful to coordinate the regional resources,can be used to guide the development of park-economy,which has great theoretical and practical meaning to better competitive advantage and continuous development of park-economy.This thesis is based on the studies of theories on industrial cluster and characteristic industrial parks. Firstly,through literature review,it involves a detailed retrospect of the establishment and devolvement of industrial parks and clusters,the relationship between the two different industrial forms.Secondly,through qualitative and inductive methods,the thesis analyzed the basic characteristics of Chongqing characteristic industrial park and development mode,pointed out the faults of Chongqing characteristic industrial park in the development process as no-balanced development,malignant competition,imperfect Industry chain,the weak root,low allocation efficiency,and the environment problems.At the same time,the thesis analyzed the development environment of Chongqing characteristic industrial park according to the macro background,favorable conditions,adverse factors.Thirdly,it use the methods of case analysis explain the current situation and development of industrial clusters about Jianqiao and Tongxing.Finally,this part probes into the countermeasures for developing the characteristic industrial park from the actual situation in Chongqing,including optimize resources configuration,implement the industry positioning,change the mode of production,strengthen government organization leadership,strengthen the consciousness of environmental protection.
