It is necessary to chang and improve the claim SAP system.Since 1999 SAP claims system has been used in Faw-vw to manage the claims order, to verify the claim reasons and to pay it ,the level of claim management have been to a extent which is nearly to the international level. Because the old system can not be suitable to the present requirements the improvement for the old claim system is needed. Firstly increasing data base: the data base of paying to service centers, the data base of claiming to vendors, the data base of non-price parts .Under such data base number the present products, and clarify the different status with numbers. When a claim order is finished ,it will be clearly to find what kind of product it is ,what kind of claim it is .Claim amount can be booked automatically based on the designed procedure.Then we want to calculate out the claim difference. To calculate the profit of selling spare parts is to calculate the parts profit that was sold out but was claimed back again, the claim difference should be deducted from the total profit of parts sales, finally we can get the real parts profit.This improvement is comparely advanced in the international companies. Because of the difficultied to calculate the claim difference more technical software such SAP is needed. In SAP system are there much dats base which are stored in different models, between the models is there connection, that is ,the data can be shared with all. To check the part price onto other models such as purchasing price and selling price and to calculate the price difference can be finished automatically on the SAP. When any claim order is done, with which the claim difference can be found easily. The balance of the account claim difference can be shown automatically. With the claim difference part profit can be get accurately.The time when Faw-vw is facing the separate brand profit improvement is coming, that is, VW brand and AUDI brand is separately calculated. The claim new system not only help the claim payment, claim return more clearly and more detailly but also help calculating the different product for claims. The claim system's improvement is suitable for the purpose of separate brand work, because of separate claim difference (products ,brands).At the end of every month using the balance of claim difference ,spare parts profit can be done automatically.With the progress of administration level in FAW-VW the analysis level of claims is improved at the same time .The standard of claim administration in Faw-vw is almost the same with international one. The clear and transparence of the claim system is open to the shareholders. This system improvement give the guarantee for forward claim analysis. Compared with old system we only can get one total figure, through the present system we can get more detail information, and more clear information which is same with international companies. In VW group the claim data, the analysis on it ,the budget on it are all very important. With the improved claim system in FAW-VW the claim status is quietly clear and open. For the analysis of claims ,it can clarified into payment ,accounts receivable and returning back. For those data fifferent figure has different function ,all data are all focused to the company. Through the payment we can find how much claims one kind of product happens in some period. When the figure increases suddenly, we can find that kind of product must have the quality problem into which we can find more. Through the claim data can be calculated out the proportion between the self-made and purchased parts, and then we can find the real reason, e.g., if the problem happens on self-made part, we shoul check our own problem, if the problems happens on the vendors, we can claim to the vendors. Through the claim return, we can find due time of vendor claims, amount of vendor claims. Because if the due time for vendors is longer especially for those abroad companies ,the possibility to return back is less that will bring loss for the enterprise. Through claim return rate, we can find the return status of vendors claim .If the claim can not be pursued, the loss wiil be beared by FAW-VW .Such data can be checked in the improved system.Above all the claim administration is necessary and important .The quality of products is connected with the life of one company. The better analysis of claims is connected with the quality of products and the life of the company. This improvement for claim system is successful and timely. From the international experience we can find the claim system changing is done step by step, until it is suitable to management requirement. Without the advanced software such SAP as support, without the top managers of one company pay big attention on it ,enterprise improvement can not be finished.Through the improvement for claim system not only the management problem is solved but also the untimely returning back for claim is calculated out. That will reduce the company loss. Such improvement is a good sample for future project improvement in FAW-VW. |
