A Study On China's Private Shipbuilding Enterprises' Development On Marine Engineering Equipments

In recent years, China has made strong development in shipbuildingindustry; its annual ship output has transcended Japan and Korea, whichmakes it the biggest shipbuilding kingdom in the world. As China'sshipbuilding industrydeveloped rapidly, nowitis facing the problemthatits ship output structurally surplus its need, as a big shipbuilding country,China is not so advanced in shipbuilding. Now more and more Chineseshipbuilding are adjusting its product structure and trying to developmarine engineering equipment thanks to its strong need and highprofit-much higher than traditional ship. But the marine engineeringequipments enjoy a high technology and high value in unit, whichrequires a lot for the shipbuilding enterprises'technology and capital.Although China's private shipbuilding enterprises has made strongdevelopment and improved themselves greatly, comparing withstate-owned and foreign invested shipbuilding enterprises, theyget a lackof early-startup, strong industry foundation and independent research, development and design capacity in marine industry. And China'privateshipbuilding enterprises expanded too fast and irrationally in marineindustry, which will again lead to output structurally surplus the need inmarineengineeringequipment.So the thesis started from the anger of core competitiveness, first,initially built core competitiveness assessment index system on privateshipbuilding industry, and then through the professions'analyze on thereliability of the indexes, deleted the unreasonable indexes, and finallybuildthecorecompetitivenessassessmentindexsystem,andcollectedtheindex-related data from twelve scaled and representative privateshipbuilding enterprises. Through the AHP-F comprehensive assessment,comparing the core competitiveness of the twelve shipbuildingenterprises,thethesissetthenameoftheenterpriseswhichiscompetitiveenough to develop the marine engineering equipment, in order to providepolicy reference about define the key private shipbuilding enterprises todevelop marine engineering equipment, and then combing therequirement of developing the marine product and situation of theenterprises'competitiveness, made the development planning andsuggestionabouttheshipbuildingenterprisesonmarineproduct.
