Xian City Taxi Passenger Demand Prediction Research

As urban public transportation component, in order to promote the development of urban economy, to make urban people travel easily, city taxi playsan active role, and reflects the city modernization development level.Also there are some problems,such as difficulty to take a taxi, poor quality of service, etc. The aim of this paper, starting from the historical data of rent years to find out the characteristics and laws of xi'an taxi passenger transportation demand, and forecast the growing of xi'an taxi demand in future years,based on which the government can control the cab industry effectively.This paper takes xi'an taxi industry as the research object, by using the quantitative analysis and quantitative analysis, based on the historical data,with the help SPSS software, discusses the demand of taxi in xi'an. Xi'an city taxi passenger demand is influenced by various factors,such as economy, society, policy, environment etc.This paper divide these factors into three parts:economic factors, population factors and other factors, and then do the correlation analysis, elastic analysis based on the historical data. Based on the analysis of the economy, the paper selects GDP,per capita disposable income,and the per capita consumption,buses quantity, the resident population, work people as independent variables which are positively relative to xi'an city taxi passenger demand, xi'an city taxi passenger demand as the dependent variable, constructs regression model, and forecaste the future demand of xi'an city taxi. the rule of the predicting data is the same as the historical datas. And then probe into the rationality of the current policy based on the research results.Based on the summarization of the past research achievements, and through the analysis of historical data,this paper constructs prediction model of xi'an taxi demand which is important for the industry control.
