Currently, the DenseMedium Separation is China’s major coal preparation methods, pressure heavy medium cyclone coal preparation is occupied an important market, there is pressure on heavy medium preparation methods, principles and systems research slime nature is very meaningful. In pressure heavy media systems, cyclone feed inlet material amount of slime will directly affect the work of the cyclone suspension density, viscosity, etc., thereby affecting the cyclone is working properly, the impact of separation efficiency, and therefore amount of research slime pressure heavy media systems have a very real sense secondary.In this paper, Huainan Mining Group Pan north into the wash coal preparation plant sample, there is pressure on the two production HM system slime nature study, according to the experimental requirements, the sample is divided into four sampling points, namely coal belt, cyclone feed pump outlet, cyclone overflow, cyclone underflow, qualified media barrel, were taken coal, cyclone feed pump export products, product cyclone coal and gangue, coal samples five qualified media. According to the national standard GB/T477-2008and GB/T478-2008coal samples were coal screening test, drifting test, mud trials was calculated for each size fraction yield and ash, each density level of yield and ash, coal mud of time corresponding to the amount of Di mud.
