| Porphyrin as a series of conjugate macrocycles compound with great ability ofunique optical properties and chemical stability. The porphyrins have been used ingreat varieties areas, such as minic enzyme, solar cells, molecular devices andsensors.We synthesized a series of porphyrin compounds with the Alder-Longomethod. The structures of the porphyrin monomer and polymers were all signified by1H-NMR, MALDI-TOF. The photophysical properties and electrochemical propertieswere confirmed by UV-Vis Spectra, PL Spectra, and Cyclic Voltammetry. The resultsare as follows:1. A series of porphyrin monomers name:5-methacrylic-10,15,20-tetraphenyl-porphyrin,5-methacrylic-10,15,20-decylalkoxy-tetraphenyl-porphyrin,5-methacrylic-10,15,20–dodecylalkoxy-tetraphenyl-porphyrin,5-methacrylic-10,15,20-tetradecanealkoxy-tetraphenyl-porphyrin,5-methacrylic-10,15,20-hexadecanealkoxy-tetraphenyl-porphyrin has been synthesized by our work. The structures of porphyrin monomerswere all signified by1H-NMR, MALDI-TOF, combined differential scanningcalorimetry (DSC), polarized light microscopy (POM). This series of porphyrinmonomers were formed liquid crystal except the5-methacrylic-10,15,20-tetraphenyl-porphyrin. And the cleaning point of these porphyrin monomers reduced with theincreasing length of alkoxy tail-chain.2. The porphyrin polymers were synthesized by the free radical polymerization.The thermal stability has been investigated by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Ithas been demonstrated that these porphyrin polymers had excellent thermal stability.The optical and electrochemical properties were investigated via UV-Vis, PL and CV.It was found that this series of the polymers were showed deep HOMO energy leveland great optical band gap, predict the useful ability in the photovoltaic device.3. We doped different rate of porphyrin into the polymers. And the optical andelectrochemical properties were investigated via UV-Vis, PL and CV. The resultshowed these complexes were all showed relative deep HOMO energy level and greatoptical band gap. |
