The large-scale projects of water treatment works, Daqing Oilfield Water TreatmentProject is designed, whose aim is in order to ensure the million Daqing inhabitants to drinkthe safe water. However, because of the prevalence of these uncertainties, the project facedmore risks. So in this project, how to use the knowledge of risk management, riskidentification and evaluation to establish a scientific and effective risk prevention measures,and to improve risk management of similar project effectively, which needs to be studied andresearched deeply.In this paper, the research is based on the Daqing Oilfield water treatment works, whichhas adopted a field survey, literature studies, and qualitative and quantitative researchmethods and so on, combined with the results of the research, we propose the establishmentof a sound risk management system measures. Contents of this paper are divided into fiveparts, at first, from the overall situation on the basic research background, purpose andmeaning, and the research status of this research and other innovations. Secondly, itintroduces the theory of project risk management. Thirdly, based on the status quo of thedepth water treatment works of Daqing Oilfield, we develop the appropriate approach to riskidentification, risk identification and risk identification step approach. Fourth, AHP is used tocomplete the evaluation of risk. Finally, based on the risk identification and evaluationmethods mentioned above, combined with the currently exposed in the project riskmanagement problems and drawbacks, targeted risk management approach proposed.Through risk management study of Daqing Oilfield water treatment works, it will provideimportant theoretical basis and practical guidance for risk management in similar projects inthe future.
