| PLLA/SiOx/PVA biodegradable composite membrane was prepared and used to the preservation of chilled meat. Since the poor oxygen and water barrier properties PLLA membrane, SiOx was deposited to the surface of the PLLA membrane, then the PLLA/SiOx was coated with PVA layer. Compared with the PLLA film, the Young’s modulus of the PLLA/SiOx/PVA film decreased by24%. The oxygen transmission rate and oxygen barrier reduced by340and200times. Compare with PA/PE films, the PLLA/SiOx/PVA film show rather better performance in the preservation of chilled meat. PLLA/SiOx/PVA can be used in the chilled meat packaging. |
