As Pingzhuang Western Open Pit Mine moves northward to Slope Area IV, F3fault effect is obvious. The northwest side stability is controlled by F3fault, in the process of open pit mining, the displacement and deformation of landslide have repeatedly happened, causing great impact on open pit mine safety production. F3fault cutting northwest side forms a three-dimensional landslide, when the working side advances north, through the control of the three dimensional sliding body size, spatial form, the slope stability is controlled, so as to provide technical support for open pit mining.this paper applies the site investigation, engineering geological analysis method, three-dimensional limit equilibrium analysis method and numerical simulation method and so on, and this paper systematically studies the F3fault, namely the top slope area IV s stability, determines the model northwest side F3fault zone of landslide.
