The sand body of fluvial facies is multi-stage superposed in the vertical direction andwiggle frequently in the horizontal direction. Serious reservoir heterogeneity results in theextremely complicated connectivity between sandbodies. Therefore, how to thoroughlydescribe the architecture elements in the internal of sandbodies by geological modeling isa critical technology to improve the development efficiency.Based on statistical satellite map data of modern meandering river in South Americaand Alaska in North America and braided river in Congo of African region, the statisticsgeometric parameters of sedimentary units are researched. The relationship between thewidth of the river, incised valley width, the maximum amplitude, the depth of the incised,the width of point bars and the area of point bars are determined. Combined with thedomestic and overseas statistical research about lateral integrated outcrop, we obtain thethe relationship between the ratio of wide and depth and the side Angle of meanderingriver. Law of dimensional geometric parameter of sedimentary units of braided river aredetermined by the plane geometry parameters and profile outcrop of braided river.Based on the core date, well logging data and seismics date of Qinhuangdao32-6Oilfield in Bohai Bay Basin, the sighs of lithofacies, sedimentary tectonics andelectrofacies are researched. The stratigraphic correlation methods of fluvial facies sandbody are summarized. The thought of partitioning facies is applied for random lithofaciesmodeling. The point bar is simulated by the method of truncated gaussian simulation withtrend section of for random lithofacies modeling, the flood plain, abandoned channel andcrevasse splay are simulated by the method of sequential indicator simulation, and thebraided river sedimentary is simulated by the method of multiple-point geostatistics. Withthe3D geological model of fluvial facies sand body, a method of fluvial facies sand bodygeological modeling is established through constraint condition of variation function,vertical scale function, probability curve and geometric parameters of the sedimentaryunit.
