| With rapid development of information technology, video resources in the Internet increase extremely fast. People hope to search wanted videos as easily as page searching, and they want to know the recent hot videos. Old search engine can't fit the needs, therefor video search engine is born, but it's still a long way to fit the needs perfectly. It would not only be able to collect comprehensive information on video resources fully, but also need to find hot videos from the so many resources. This study focuses the needs of finding the hot videos in the physical environment. In depth study of the working principle of crawler, it is proposed the policy which is searching all the newest videos firstly and then using the changing level of hotspots judging by tracking technology. After that, it constantly be optimized and improved, thus with the dramatic improvements in operational efficiency of the system, and it achieves the performance of the actual operation in the end.The main outcome of this article can be summarized as follows:Firstly, in depth study of crawler technology, based on the ideas of re-crawl policy, combined with the concept of information longevity, it's demonstrated the feasibility of the information longevity-based strategy for rapid discovery in the physical environment. So it meets the timeliness and allsidedness of video searching.Secondly, through the study of hot video resources, it's proposed hot spot recognition algorithms. And using the idea of the hot changing level's predictions effectively controls the size of the resources needed tracking, so it further improves the system performance, and it reaches the performance of tracking hot candidates in the physical environment. So it ensures finding hot video resources. Then, through the test of the actual performance and optimizing, it's made hot model of discovery and tracking system. It's provided a large number of configuration parameters which can be controlled and given the actual operation range of parameters that can be used by the experimental comparison. Finally, based on the above results of theoretical studies, this paper describes design and development of a high-performance hotspot discovery and tracking system. |
