Research And Application Of Key Technologies For Mobile Agent

The mobile agent technology is a new distributed computing technology. It fetches up the deficiencies of the Client/Server technology so it has a wide application prospect. Now a lot of achievements have been got in the mobile agent research area but there are still some deficiencies.This thesis researches two key techniques that are the communication mechanism and fault-tolerance mechanism for the mobile agents and analyzes one of the application fields that is network management of the mobile agent technology.One of the key techniques for mobile agent is the Communication mechanism. The thesis designs a reliable mobile agent communication mechanism RCP on the basis of the analysis of existing knowledge.The RCP proposed in this paper adopts the location server approach for location management and the blackboard approach for message delivery. Within the acceptable system cost,the RCP mechanism solves the proble-ms of existing mechanism and it realizes the location transparent communication, scalability,high-stability and high-performance.Fault-tolerance plays an indispensable key part in mobile agent.So in order to guarantee a mobile agent can implement the tasks smoothly and correctly,a reliable fault-tolerance mechanism must be existed. The thesis designs a ring topology fault-tolerance mechanism based on the stage node on the basis of the analysis of existing knowledge. Through the analysis,it proves that compared with other fault-tolerance mechanism, the star topology fault-tolerance mechanism has much more usability and stronger high fault-tolerance function.Finally,we apply the mobile agent technology to network management and brings forward an integrated network management system model based on mobile agent. Through the analysis,it proves that compared with the former productions,the integrated network manageme-nt system has much more advantages.
