The micro-mirror fiber-optic hydrogen sensor is a kind of optical sensor with simple structure, high sensitivity, strong stability, and good reusability. It is a multidisciplinary field of, which involves the development of hydrogen-sensitive film and the detection technology of hydrogen sensor,and so on. How to achieve the overall integration of a variety of related technologies, reduce the manufacturing cost of micro-mirror fiber optic-hydrogen sensors, and improve the sensitivity of hydrogen sensor etc are the key problems that recently the micro-mirror fiber-optic hydrogen sensor technology industrialization face toward.Based on the principle of hydrogen-sensitive film, this paper launched a micro-mirror fiber-optic hydrogen sensor technical studies, and carried out systematic experiments to achieve the purpose of the micro-mirror fiber-optic hydrogen sensors widely used in industry. This article focuses on performance optimization experiment of hydrogen-sensitive film, sensing head structure design, and making out special instrument. The testing system includes display system, and processing dates system. It can display the value of instantaneous concentration, alarm at the overrunning limitation and so on. This experimental proposal include the following:(1) Analyse the basic principles of hydrogen-sensitive film, by changing the element or thickness of the film with different concentration test to develop the hydrogen concentration-optical power curve, and then we find a better film from the result.(2) Based on theoretical analysis, establish the designment of hydrogen sensing system and do some analysis for the experimental data. Test system consists of photoelectric conversion circuit, filter circuit, C8051F120 microcontroller, digital display and other circuit, completing the convertion between the optical power signal light current signal, signal processed by SCM, displaying the concentration with digital tube, and sending the value to PC by serial port.(3) According to the working environment and non-pollution protection requirements of palladium membrane, the structure of sensor gas chamber are designed specially, fiber easily to install and remove, and the special sealing design advance performance of waterproof and dust control measures for some parts.
