The feedback control mode of conventional control and adaptive control is to enhance the system's performance and to erase disturbance through feeding back output and disturbance simultaneously. The plant's dynamic response and disturbance elimination is respectively done. They don't impact each other. So we can best enhance the system's performance and erase disturbance to acquire good dynamic response and make noise and disturbance minimum. Because of the less coefficient of adaptive IIR(Infinite Impulse Response)filter and its sooner refrain from rash action, IIR filter has get more and more attention. This paper concentrates on adaptive IIR filter algorithm and adaptive inverse control in this paper.Firstly, this paper proposes adaptive IIR filter based on Lyapunov stable theory. The algorithm conquers the limitation to fall into local particle of using the IIR filter expressed with the format of transfer function when uses gradient method and resolves the problem to prove the convergence of the parameters.Secondly, based on fixed size LMS algorithm, a new variable step size LMS(Least Mean Square)algorithm is put forward. It can result in fast convergence speed and low residual error simultaneously. The adaptive feedback control can counteract the beginning error of the system. The adaptive disturbance canceller can best erase noises and disturbances.Finally, adaptive inverse control based on nonlinear IIR filter is researched. This paper design adaptive modeling, adaptive inverse modeling and controller which has adaptive disturbance canceller and feedback compensation in it. Simulation studies have shown that this nonlinear adaptive inverse control system can erase disturbances and result in fast convergence speed.
