Research Of Online Examination System Based On .NET And AJAX Technology

With the rapid development of Internet-technology and the increasing improvement of the social information level, The Computer Network-Tech has witnessed its wider and wider applications in the education field, Traditional examination modes have been facing a significant reform. Online-test System, As one of the advanced examination modes, is bound to be the main mode in future. Thus, It appears to be an imperative market demand to develop an Online-test system with excellent/integrated functions.The Online-test system includes many modules, such as message center management module, question-database management module, the examination paper management module, the role-grant management module, examination module, simulation practice module, and individual information management. This system will greatly help to the daily test and management, and release the administrators' work stress. It not only boosts the efficiency and reliability of the examination, but also poses an important positive impact to the effect and quality of teaching.This paper firstly presents the significance of this task, and then indicates the research actuality at home and abroad, our research includes the structure of the Online-test system, the construction of the question-database, as well as the measures of related theory needed. Based on how to build the very system, We gradually introduce some basic theory and technology knowledge, with .Net framework, Asp.Net, ADO.Net, Ajax-Tech and database-Tech included. Moreover, we put forward a model for the Online-test system after analyzing the basic function and structure of the system.Secondly, when designing the question-database model, through integrating its own characteristics, we analyze the function and tactics for the paper-organizing module in the system, and proposed a better arithmetic. The key problems that had to be carefully solved in this process of constructing the system have got detailedly analyzed properly. Seven constraint conditions are proposed, and divided into three categories of Strong, Gentle, week according to the constraint degrees, these three categories will be distinctly applied into the test-paper-making process in order to enhance its efficiency.Thirdly, in the process of designing and realizing the system, we provide the respective structure designs for the system module and database. We give full state on its great advantages to build the Online-test system in use of Ajax technology, for example, It can asynchronously produce questions at random through the system, save data and give hints automatically, and you will enjoy more personal, interactive and prompt taste via the Online-test system. Finally,this paper detailedly presents the whole process on how to realize the Online-test system through the Ajax-Tech and cope with some key problems, such as calculating elapsed-time for each test, choosing questions and create a test paper, page refresh, etc.At last, this paper presents the specified measures to control the system security and optimize the performance of the system, In addition, w also point out where or work still have to be done to better the system.The significance for this task lies in: Not only implement an Online-test system of absolutely new framework with excellent performance, but also through the use of Ajax technology in the design and development process, the functions of the Online-test system have been greatly integrated.
