With the popularity of Internet and the development of commercialization of web services, the privacy issue of actors for web service becomes one of the hottest topics. Generally, the privacy data of actors is stored in the site of web service. Due to the convenience to retrieve the information on the Internet, the privacy data involved in the Internet will bring much commercial benefit. In addition, because of the emergent need for information, most of the privacy data will be public or transferred to the third party illegally. All of these behaviors are harmful to the privacy benefit of service actors and effect the healthy development of web service. So web services are eager to have the responding technology to protect the privacy data of service actors.For the three roles (Service Register Agent, Service Provider and Service Requester) of web service, based on the idea of P4P this paper proposes a kind of Privacy Protection Framework for Web Service Actors, which abbreviated as PPFWSA is aimed at protect the privacy information for web service actors. This framework that expended the P4P module and introduced the Connection Pool technology, which contains multiple Agents, protects the privacy information of actors effectively. In addition, this paper proposes a kind of privacy protection strategy with the advantage of diversity and personality. This strategy can implement different privacy protection strategy according to the users need. Because of the agent and connection pool technology involved in PPFWSA, it can not only protect the privacy of users, but also improve the access efficiency.The contribution of this paper is as follows:1. The Protection Framework for Web Service Actors is proposed based on the idea of P4P. It implements the privacy protection for service actors using the Agent Module for Privacy, which can protect the privacy more efficiency than P4P module based on single Agent.2. The personal strategy for privacy protection is proposed. The previous privacy protection strategies were unitary and general. In PPFWSA, service providers will be divided into many kinds of categories and implement the corresponding strategy to different users. Users can also submit their requirement for privacy protection to get the corresponding protection.3. The PPFWSA is verified in this paper. We apply PPFWSA in IPVita and propose SE-IPVita platform which has better efficiency in privacy protection.The PPFWSA proposed could provide the diversity and personal privacy protection to protect the privacy data for service actors. In addition, it is more independent to implement in many kinds of web service framework and convenient to popularize.
