The inertial navigation system is a completely independent navigation system, it does not rely on any outside information and is applied in more and more situations, so it becomes more and more important to increase the system's navigation accuracy. In view of this question, this paper designes the simulation system of the vehicle experiment of the inertial platform and does identification on inertial navigation system's guidance tool error model.This paper introduces the inertial navigation system's work principle and the navigation equation firstly, establishs the mathematical model of the simulation system of the vehicle experiment of the inertial platform. This paper focuses on designing and realizing the simulation system of the vehicle experiment of the inertial platform. In the design, it is mainly realizes the following function, it can finish the establishment of the vehicle way according to the user's needs, finish the establishment of the system error and it provides the navigation information demonstration function, it may observe the guidance information for the user when changing process. In the realization, in order to improve the software development efficiency, the simulation platform is decided to realize mixed programming by Matcom after comparing serveral methods of mixed programming. In the part of using the vehicle experiment to do the inertial navigation error model identification, this paper establishes inertial navigation system's guidance tool error model firstly, and then do model identification using ordinary least square, and find the identification results are not good. After analying, we find the system exists serious duplicate collinearity. In order to overcome the duplicate collinearity, we decide to use partial least square method to do model identification to increase Identification precision finally.The inertial navigation error simulation platform designed in this paper realizes the purpose of analying the influence of the platform system error and signal measured outside to the navigation accuracy, it can see the navigation information intuitively. The simulation system might supply to the people who is engaged in the inertial navigation system research, can supply to the design engineers and technicians, can supply to the related specialists for study. It can increase the identification precision whe using the partial least square method to do parameter identification, and it has satisfied the research purpose and the significance.
