With the development of the today's high performance computing and the communications technologies, spatial information technology is becoming a high-tech industry which influences the various aspects of national activities and people's lives in development of military affairs, national security, social progress and so on. The application of spatial information technology has changed the limit of human researching on earth, largely developed the human vision, greatly enhanced the human understand of the world ability, will deeply impact on new era human's world view, life, production and the information intercommunion way.G/S mode that is Geo-Information Browser/Spatial Information Server mode which put forward by our research group combined with the latest spatial information achievement is a new spatial information network visit way. The spatial information servers will handle mess of data and many visit requests, so a framework which is able to help spatial information servers provide data service efficiently is inevitably needed.The main of the work in this paper are as follows: First of all, based on the analysis of the spatial information technologies'current situation, the paper introduces the G/S mode theory including the system model of the G/S mode, the features and advantage of the G/S mode, and the key technologies of the G/S mode. Base on the P2SP related technologies, this paper focuses on analyzing the concept of the P2SP technologies, the network framework of the P2SP, key technologies of P2SP, and the defect of P2SP. This article uses the advanced JXTA network framework for reference, analyzes its network protocol, network framework and the key technologies.Furthermore, base on the whole system framework of the G/S mode spatial information cluster server, according to the characteristic of the system, using P2SP framework and JXTA technologies, this article designs a resource sharing system framework which adapts to the G/S mode distributed spatial information cluster server. According to this framework, the paper expatiates the formation of network, resource sharing theory, the performance of the framework, the trait of the framework and so on. In the end, the article designs a P2SP resource sharing prototype system, and implements the key function.This article raises a nice solution for the researching on how mess distributed spatial information cluster servers offer efficient data visit request, data transfers and management and so on.
