Abstract:This paper introduces the theory of News style, especially focuses on the colloquial trend of urban newspapers headlines. From the examples of colloquial vocabulary and structures choosing from today's Chinese newspapers headlines, this paper puts forward the idea that there are more colloquial factors in today's newspapers. It is not only the phenomenon of social development, but also the development of language itself.In today's news style, the standard of language use is shaken, as demonstrated by mixing the oral and written language up widely, which is illustrated prominently in newspapers of all levels.From the perspective of sample surveys, this article analyzes the more colloquial development trends of metropolis newspaper headlines in recent years to explore its manifestations, causes as well as the function and value of this trend. Finally, raise some personal views to the standard of news headlines colloquial problem.This paper studies the colloquial phenomenon of news headlines and links newspaper language with disseminators to raise awareness and attention to the phenomenon that newspapers are full of a large number of colloquial languages. In addition, due to the close relationship between language use and language norms, and more and more Chinese learners from foreign countries, the last part of this paper discusses the relationship between the colloquial phenomenon in newspaper language and the language norms as well as the relationship with TCFL to attract more attention.
