Gas controlling is an important basic work in securing the safety in production of coal mine enterprises. As the progress in theory and technology, various management methods, safety regulations and treatment technology constantly emerged. Appraising the grade of gas (carbon dioxide), as a basic technical work of"one through three prevention", plays an extremely significant role in coal mine safety production. The main contents of gas (carbon dioxide) grade appraising includes measurement and calculation of air volume, gas and carbon dioxide density on each coal face and ventilating roadway, classifying gas grades of coal mine shafts, mining areas and coal faces according to relevant technical standards and taking some measures in gas controlling and safety accident preventing according to different grades.Under the background of an information era, a lot of coal mine enterprises in China have already realized information management in many ways. However, as an important and complicated work, gas (carbon dioxide) grade appraising is still in the stage of manual operating. So it's pressing and necessary to design and develop a MIS on appraising the grade of gas (carbon dioxide).Under this premise, we designed a gas (carbon dioxide) grade appraising system based on J2EE in corporation with Huaibei Mining Group. This system can set the staffs free from intricate calculations, increase efficiency and the accuracy of the appraising results and make intelligent analysis on probable errors. Furthermore,it can also find out the reason of errors and put forward solutions to them, thus providing foundation for gas control in coal mine enterprises.In the process of the entire program, the writer completed the following work:1. Study on the data collecting, calculating process of data transforming and representation modes of appraising results.2. Analyze the complicated relationship between data and find out the transforming relationship between them, determine the data structure and provide foundation for the building of system database.3. By studying on safety regulations and discussing with relevant experts and technicians, build the knowledge base of error intelligent analysis which contains the probable errors and their reasons and the reasoning process and judging conditions for the errors.4. Choose developing technology and tools according to the demands of system function, design the structure and function modules and realization form of the system based on system demand analysis.This system combines the relatively mature technical platform—J2EE with excellent MVC(Model-View-Controller) developing technology, employs B/S structure that is easy in deployment and maintenance to realize it .It has a friendly human-machine interface thus convenient for operating. This system is also easy to transplant and has a good expansibility.
