| With increasing multimedia applications running on the Internet,the bandwidth became the bottleneck for data transferring.QoS(Quality of service) is an appropriate approach to solve such problem.Based on the analysis of user needs and IP Control Gateway architecture,this thesis introduces the Qos into the IPCG and implements a QoS system which combinating the IntServ and the DiffServ.Otherwise,that system applies the adaptive control to access control and transmitting packets.So that that system can manage and maximize the use of network resources while ensuring the quality of service for users and real-time applications.Firstly,with the needs of QoS in IPCG,this thesis designs and implements a QoS system which based on users' priority and packets' priority.That system classifies packets according to users' priority and then provides QoS guarantee to users by their priorities.Secondly,available resources,online users,the QoS requirements and the priorities of the relative relations are changed frequently so that the static QoS can't make full use of the resources,reduces the throughput and the service ability.Therefore,this thesis improves QoS solutions and proposes an adaptive QoS approach on the disadvantages of QoS in IPCG.That adaptive QoS system dynamic adjusts QoS mapping,QoS strategy and the parameters of QoS priority queues according to the condition of system.At last,the experimental results show that our adaptive QoS approach can ensure users' QoS as well as improve the IPCG resource utilization. |
