Online detection of the steel plate's flatness is applied widespread and valuable in the manufacturing production.Measurement using CCD and linear laser has the virtues of non-contact,high accuracy,convenient for computer processing and easy to control.For this reason,research on the laser flatness gauge of the steel plate has high practical application value and good prospects.The paper designed the overall protocol of steel plate flatness on-line detection system, based on the basic principle of measurement system design,and the amelioration of existing measurement system.Complete the whole design of flatness gauge system that is composed of optical imaging,light source control,data acquisition and processing and the related hardware interface.Focus on the design and produced of the drive circuit and control procedures of the light source that is adjustable with software and features a real-time data monitoring.The design provides the detection system an ideal linear laser source by using of digital signal processor(DSP),semiconductor lasers,D/A,A/D converters,constant current source circuit and temperature control circuit.Constant current source circuit features a protection of overshoot,surge and reverse breakdown.Constant temperature control circuit is composed of thermal electric cooler(TEC),thermistor and the PID control circuit.At last,design a feasible test method in the laboratory for the verification of the system and analyze the reason that caused the error of measurement results.Also gives a necessary calibration and compensation.The results show that the design of the light source system has a higher quality.The lasers can be adjustable and real-time monitoring of the operating current and operating temperature.The accuracy of laser current is±1mA.The accuracy of temperature control is±1℃that meet the requirements of the design.
