Research And Implementation Of North Interface Of Specific Network Resource Management System

Telecommunication network resource management system is the foundation of network and business management. The point-to-point management of network and business requires a synthetic network resource management system, which can manage and analyze all kinds of managed network resources. Because this synthetic network resource management system is constructed upon all the specific network resource management systems, its basic resource data has to come from these systems too. So the construction of resource north interface between specific network resource management systems and upper synthetic system is the key point.Author has proposed an interface designation based on CORBA and XML by analyzing the main problems existed in north interface of specific network resource management system. A uniform resource model based on XML has been given out. And a communication protocol for the interface using this resource model has been mention out too, which could be described with CORBA IDL language. This interface designation not only can fully utilize existed specific network resource management systems, but also can make it easier for newly specific network to join in. Through this interface, all the specific network resources can be reported to upper synthetic resource management system in a uniform resource model. And new kinds of resources can be easily integrated into. Based on the design, Author also has implied a resource north interface software in Optical fiber communication transmission network, which succeeds in reporting all the managed resources from Optical fiber communication transmission network resource management system to upper synthetic resource management system completely and dynamically. This thesis mainly shows the designation of north interface, and introduces the implementation of resource north interface software in Optical fiber communication transmission network. It also points out some shortages in design and implantation, wishing to overcome them and perfect the designation.
