With the growing popularity of mobile computing and communication devices, the demand for data synchronization business increases dramatically. A lot of protocols and data synchronization methods caused serious problems when the data synchronization occurred between different equipments and networks. This paper mainly researches on the data synchronization protocol SyncML (Synchronization Markup Language) which has been designed to synchronize any type of data on different transport protocols. Then the paper makes implementation of SyncML based on J2EE and provides a perspective that the implementation not only to guarantee the original functionality of J2EE system application will not be affected or altered significantly, but also to achieve the target of data synchronization. The paper firstly introduces the causes of the generation of the SyncML protocol, and then introduces the data synchronization, as well as the concept of the issues related to data synchronization. Also, the relevant specifications and technology of SyncML protocol are studied. The paper carries out in-depth research on the SyncML protocol, describs the working principle and the specific contents of SyncML protocol. The problems are analyzed in the realization of integration SyncML to J2EE system application. The paper addresses these issues and provides a flexible, adaptive and scalable solution. In accordance with the design of this paper, the author succeeded in the implementation of specific J2EE systems applications. The design ideas and methods of integration of the SyncML protocol to J2EE system applications, has laid a good, convenient foundation for different J2EE system applications to achieve data synchronization.
