Research And System Implement On Information Navigation System Of Professional Teaching Faced To Undergraduate Course Teaching

In order to fulfil users' requirement of achieving course reserves through network, university libraries start constructing digital reserves system home and abroad, and offer Course Reserves Service to users. This paper analyzes the problems exists in the Course Reserves Service of university library presently, including the lack of types and quantity of reserves, the singleness of retrieval entries, the few communication between teachers and students and so on. Then this paper puts forward starting new discussion about Subject Navigation Service of high school from the aspect of undergraduate course teaching. We integrate university teaching with Subject Navigation Service from the aspect of course study, dig up the resources of library, the book room of academy and network. We also emphasize the tutor effect about the courses of teachers and subject librarian. It promotes the communication among teachers, subject librarians and students and promotes students to study by themselves. And it also enhances teaching quality of high school. Through the base of survey and analysis of the requirements of user at the range of Nanjing Agriculture University. We did the function design and technical realization of the professional teaching navigation system with the aim of graduate education coaching, integrate Subject Navigation with the teaching of professional teachers, the recommendation of course reserves and convenient access for students' use, and so on. For example, it offers retrieval entry from the aspect of subjects. The recommend course reserves not only the bibliotheca information of library, the recommend bibliotheca, courseware and original text offered by professional teachers and students but also communication channel for teachers and students according to specialty etc. Through these measures, it enriches the resources of Subject Navigation Service, offers self-study coach for students after class. It also greatly improves the usage efficiency of library resources and promotes the academic communication between teachers and students. The testing of the experiment system mainly investigates from the aspect of contentment efficiency of users about the friendly extent of user interface, function design, resource classification, etc.Comparing with the Course Reserves Service provided by our country, our experimental system has four advantages. First, our system designs functions directly from the aspect of requirement of university professional teaching, dividing course reserves into six types, just as bibliography, courseware of teachers, examination database, network resource, digital books and recommended databases. Second, our system makes it true to individual customization of user courses. Once users log in our system, they can customize courses according to their needs. Third, it puts forward the way of managing and maintaining the system by teachers, subject librarians and students together. The teachers and subject librarians are responsible for collecting and organizing the reserves of our system and storing relevant databases according to resource types. And our system also allows students to upload course reserves that they think it valuable. But course reserves should pass through examining and be verified by teachers and then be stored to databases. Forth, it realizes exhibition and management of the resource of the Book room of academy. Teachers and students can directly search, borrow and browse books of their academy through our system.The first chapter of this paper introduces putting forward the idea of professional teaching navigation system faced to undergraduate course teaching, the construction target and mainly assignment. The second chapter of the paper introduces the relationship between library and teaching quality of undergraduate course, analysis of the necessity to construct professional teaching navigation system for undergraduate course and the relationship with undergraduate course evaluation. The third chapter introduces survey and analysis of professional reserves service home and abroad. The fourth chapter introduces survey about users' requirements in our university. The fifth chapter introduces the design and realization of system. The sixth chapter introduces the testing and estimating of experimental system. The seventh chapter is about the advantages of this system, the problems of the system and further research work.
