Entertainment is not only the personal life of a common, but also a universal phenomenon. In the process of the whole culture animated with some amusement, entertainment is the placebo to relax and ease people both mentally and physically. In the survival of a compulsory labor, it is to maintain people's recreation and keep the physical and mental balances and become the essential supplementary to human beings. There are no external utilitarian purposes in entertainment, it is to meet the internal needs of physical and mental relaxation, and spiritual pleasure needs. Popular Entertainment TV programs, as an important cultural, in today's society not only reflects the entertainment which is the most basic games and fun, but also in popular culture and is receiving increasing attention today reflecting rave civilians, respecting for individuality and the important expression. Thus it becomes a focus that TV Station staffs produce the programs more close and popular to the viewers. Throughout the 20th century, with the socio-economic development and rapid advancement of technology, entertainment stepped into the television, thus Entertainment TV has become a modern social way of life and an important component of the people.In the current academic circle, the specific analysis of the forms of Chinese Entertainment programs and state of the art are more, however, the majority of Entertainment programs from the functional analysis to elaborate are less. The papers on Popular culture, especially the Subculture closely connected to the Entertainment are not much, which in today's society is a relatively hot topic. Therefore, the author believes that this research project has strong timeliness and significance.Based on Chinese TV Entertainment programs, in particular, from the 1990s when surging new designs of the various Entertainment programs as the main subjects, from the Subculture, especially the influence of youth sub-culture on TV Entertainment programs, the status and forms of Entertainment TV programs (including Arts and Entertainment programs, Music and Entertainment programs, Entertainment Information programs, Talk and Entertainment programs, Games and Entertainment programs, and the original ecology live selecting performers programs), the present problems of TV entertainment programs and the solutions to it.Through the interpretation of the relationship of social function and that between popular culture and the TV media, this essay affirms of the reasonableness and necessity of the TV Entertainment programs. And on the basis of which to make a rational analysis of the background of the rise and the Feverish Popularity of TV Entertainment programs, in addition, to conclude the current situation and the features of the domestic TV Entertainment programs through analyzing the features of that in Hong Kong and Taiwan regions and overseas countries. In the meantime of bringing up the problems of present Entertainment TV programs, this essay discusses the countermeasures for TV Entertainment programs in the context of the new, so as to provide some constructive proposals to the staffs in TV circle.
