The Research Of Semantic Intelligent Information Retrieval System Based On The Ontology

A new intelligent information retrieve technology is need to be researched urgently to loose the crisis of "rich data poor information" and use the information resource in Web better. Semantic Retrieve as one of the development direction of the intelligent information retrieve technology occupies extremely important position in intelligent information retrieve field. Semantic Intelligent Retrieve based on the Ontology that this paper researched is the Semantic Retrieve based on the concept room made by Ontology, the concept room means the gather of the concepts that computer can comprehend and which includes semantic nexus, so the semantic retrieve not only have some semantic processing capacity and good NLI, but also process the problem about the relation between the related concepts. So, Semantic Retrieve based on the Ontology has important research value.The results of the paper include below, aiming at the disadvantage of the traditional retrieve system based on the key matching, a new model system framework of the semantic retrieve based on the Ontology is proposed in this paper. This framework has many advantages such as high performance, deploying simply, upgrading and making maintenance conveniently, etc. In the course of the study on the key technology, a new method, named Object Oriented building method, is proposed to build domain ontology. Compared with the traditional method of the building the ontology, this method owns many merits, such as being simple to be learned and used, can decrease the workload in the process of developing the semantic retrieve. This method affords a new idea to resolve the problem of building the ontology automatically. Third, this paper has implemented one system of the semantic retrieve based on the Ontology, which is Fruit Semantic Retrieve System named as FruitISearch in agriculture field, proof the feasibility of the framework and Object Oriented building method. The system implements the Semantic extension retrieve, viz. not only retrieving the key matching information, but also retrieving the relative information, including the synonymy relation and up-and-down relation, thereby retrieving completely, and it can leach the irrelevance and solve the Information overload in some way. Moreover, it is universal of the difficulties being resolved in implementing this system, so it has important reference value in the process of implementing semantic retrieve system in other fields.
