There are more and more oil pipelines in the world now, and the upward trend has been shown. But most of pipeline has been corrosive in varying degrees, such as cracks and other defects. Because its service for a long time had reached the mid-term. Serious safety accidents are always caused by corrosion or cracks. The losses have added up to hundreds of millions of dollars. It is important that the studying work ought to be done in pipeline inspection.The aim of mine raises the standard of technology in pipeline inspection. The paper studies the crack detection technology in pipeline in-depth. And it introduces the nondestructive crack detection technology and machines online within the research and development on the pipeline at home and abroad and the main of problems. It is given that the design program on transmit / receive circuit and for the expansion of the multi-channel switcher conversion method of making cards based on the ultrasonic detection system , online data processing within the detection system design, and focused on the online Ultrasonic Crack Detection System Data Processing wavelet analysis and crack quantitative analysis of the model. At present it has completed Card part of the debugging process and the preparation in code.Through inner inspection system on pipeline are set up, the software and the hardware are completed in the same time. All of them make progress of the inner pipeline detection technology.
