The Research On Adolescents' Media Literacy Education In Huining Town

With the rapid development of media technology, the mass communication which is marked by the Internet is playing a more and more important role in modern society. Also, it has negative effect on the growth of the adolescents. Therefore, it is an urgent task to help them get a correct understanding of the media resources and make use of them correctly so as to increase their media literacy. However, the media literacy education in our country was studied later than other countries, got little fruit and was paid little attention by people, which made the media literacy education in the west poverty-stricken areas marked by Huining Town an blank both in theory and practice.At first, the paper began with the concept of Media Literacy Education. Based on the previous of other people, I showed my understanding of media literacy education and combed in details the achievements in theoretical research in this field and its practical development both at home and abroad.Secondly, I gave an investigation of the present situation of the adolescents' media literacy in Huining Town and got to know the problems and the long-standing mistaken ideas in the media literacy education in Huining Town. At last, based on the content of the media literacy education studied by foreign researchers and those of Hong Kang and TAIWAN , I proposed its launching methods and contents in the poverty-stricken areas marked by Huining Town.
