Design And Development Of Enterprise Web-Based Training Platform Based On Performance Technology

Making a general observation of the development of modern economy, it is not difficult to note that the competition among enterprises is the competition for talented person, which is the competition of enterprise training among enterprises; In the future, the only approach for one enterprise to win other competitors is quicker study. Consequently, it is the basic way for one enterprise to gain success by paying attention to the enterprise training, the improvement of the all-round qualities of its employees and the self-identity of its enterprise culture, which can help the enterprise to be a leaning organization. With the improvement of the core competence of the enterprise, the "win-win" aim of the enterprise and its employee can be realized ultimately.The thesis introduces Performance Technology into the enterprise training. Starting with actual problems, this thesis proposes a Web-Based Training (WBT) Application Model by analyzing Human Performance Technology (HPT) Model, ISO10015 Training-Standard and IEEE1484 WBT Frame etc. On the basis of this model, we design and develop one WBT platform that is suitable for the system of Dong-Feng Vehicle Bridge Company by combining with the actual needs of enterprise training sufficiently. The target of building this platform is to found a WEB based learning organization inside the enterprise, which can help the employees study spontaneously as well as help them build up the concept of "study all one's life". By changing the employees from "ask me to learn " to "I want to learn", this platform can cultivate employee's ability of self-study, then the enterprise is on the way of healthy development since the lifting of its employees can enhance the increment of its Human-Resource.This training-platform system attempts to incorporate the database technology, information security technology, Web technology and object oriented software developing technology together. As a new way of modern enterprise training, this platform embodies the perfect combination of traditional training and modern information technology. We adopt WEB based B/S model in the design of this platform, so the interface is amicable, the operation is convenient, the practicability and transplanting are good. As for the key technology, this system adopts a lot of modern advanced technology synthetically such as ASP.NET , SQL Server2000 , Streaming Media Technology, Object-Oriented VB script.Starting with the development and realization of WEB platform based on the Performance Technology, this thesis introduces its background, actuality and significance, the analysis of the needs of its development, system design plan and concrete technologies in detail. Detailed expounds of the key technology of Data-Base design and programming code design are also provided. Finally, we give out an overall summarization and prospect to this Training-System's exploitation and application.The WBT based platform will greatly improve the efficiency of modern management in the enterprise training, satisfy the learning needs of different levels of employees, build the atmosphere of life-long study and self-study. Thus it will improve the efficiency of Human Resource Management.
