Whether handset TV, IPTV or digital TV, AVS is one of the source coding standards which the service providers in china will first considered.AVS-M is the 7th part of AVS series stadards, mobile video coding standard, which also intitule AVS-P7. Its goal is to provide the video coding and decoding standard for mobile equipments like the handset, the application scope including alternation storage media wide-band video service, the multimedia emails, the long-distance video monitoring, the video conference, the videophone and so on.This article researched the complexity highest two unit, motion compensation interpolation and the deblocking filter, then labored the principle and the important concept of the motion compensation interpolation and the deblocking filter. Has made the improvement and the optimization in this foundation to the original algorithm. Regarding the motion compensation interpolation proposed the highly effective data using strategy, 2-D to 1-D filter and 4-tap diagonal filter; And regarding deblocking filter analyzed the reference data reusing, improved the deblocking order, simultaneously proposed and analyzed the simplification filter plan. Then make the analysis comparison to the improved the result. The result indicated that under the premise of coding and decoding simultaneously to use the improved algorithm, the research of this article does reduced the operation complexity while the PSNR drop and bit rate rise all not big, enhanced the decoding efficiency.Finally this article has conducted the research of both structure in the foundation of forecited algorithm research. Contraposing the AVS-M characteristic, the parallel pipeline structure has been used, and used 4 tap filter to replace the original 8 tap filter, simultaneously considered the reference data reuse to design the luminance interpolation structure; Considered interpolation middle data reuse, reduced the operation number of times to design the chroma interpolation structure; Considered the characteristics of the AVS-M deblocking filter pattern and the boundary filter reference picture pixels did not affect each other to design deblocking filter structure, and has completed each units function simulation confirmation with the Verilog hardware description language, also the standard organization provided reference model wm2.7 has carried on the comparison, and has confirmed the accuracy and the feasibility. |
