The Research And Realization Of The Cross-domain Authentication System

With the rapid development of information technology, especially the widespread application of Internet technology, electronic government and electronic commerce have become the most important development field of information technology. It is important to guarantee information security in the network to electronic government and electronic commerce. Authentication is one of the most important mechanisms to implement network security by protecting our information from unauthorized accesses, which allows each party to a communication to be sure of the identity of the other. Cross-domain authentication is to implement Single Sign On mechanisms on more than one domain which is based on the single domain authentication.On the basic of PKI, this paper firstly introduces the principle and realization process of the authentication mechanism of single domain, and then discusses the realization fashion of cross-domain authentication mechanism, based on which, two realization models, gateway model and distributed model, are put forward with detailed analysis and arguments. Finally, this paper mainly resolve the problem that how to realize the cross-domain identity authentication system, including the needs analysis, program design and realization. Testing and the actual use have proved the correctness, feasibility and reliability of proposed design and models and system realization fashion in this paper. The cross-domain identity authentication system is the core component of e-government security support platform, its success will greatly promote the development of the national information construction.
