With the rapid increase of the ability of purchasing cars of people, a trouble problem is coming forth increasingly because of the difficulty and cost of parking. Cubic park is a good way to solve this problem. This paper discusses the design of up-down left-right parking and studies the dispatch algorithm of the position.Firstly, the background and purpose of the cubic park development are introduced in this paper. The hardware design of the loading board controller and the area controller is discussed in details. As to the loading board part, many design methods are introduced, such as master-slave communication, input signal detection, status displaying, manual action, power supply and so on. Also many design methods are put forward when introducing of the area part, such as processing unit, input signal detection, watch dog circuit, extended communication and so on.Secondly, the communication between the loading board part and the area part adopts a master-slave structure, based on which the communication protocol between them is developed. The software design of two parts is also given respectively in the paper. Finally, because the cubic-park dispatch algorithm is a complicated program, on the one hand, a general algorithm of searching path is introduced. On the other hand, the best path of the parking will be sought out via the genetic algorithm (GA) operation of encoding, selection, crossover and mutation. With the MATLAB software, the experiment results are given and GA's performance is analyzed.
