The design and coupling between antennas in missile are studied. Firstly, the classification, characteristics and several common analytical methods of antennas in missile are introduced in the thesis. Then, the calculating methods of the coupling between antennas in missile are investigated. The simplified model of the missile is built using conducting cylinder. The high frequency-Geometrical Theory of Diffraction (GTD) is used to analyze and calculate the pattern of monopole antenna, Huygens antenna, micro-strip-spiral antenna and horn antenna loading with dielectric. And it is shown that the calculating results go very well with the results in the reference literature. Further, coupling coefficient between antennas in missile is analyzed and studied in two steps: a) the coupling coefficient between antennas on the head and body of the missile is calculated;b) the coupling coefficient between antennas both on the body of missile is calculated. By analyzing the rule of coupling coefficient varying with the included angle between antenna (and antenna normal line) and axis of conducting cylinder, it is concluded that the radiation characteristic of micro-strip-spiral antenna and horn antenna loading with dielectric are better than others. In a word, this thesis is a significant reference to choose antennas in missile.
