Then it claims that Investigative Reporting has relative popularity, which is helpful to Chinese journalistic career and national modernization. The paper analyses the status quo of Investigative Reporting in Nanfang Weekend, which is approximately the representative of Chinese media's level on Investigative Reporting. The paper points out its present problems: Most investigation is not deep, only reaching superficial facts; The investigation in Guangdong Province especially in Guangzhou city is rare, not making full use of news resources even wasting them; The general presentation of Investigative Reporting without highlights is not well.
