Research On Distributed Storage System Of Peer-to-Peer Network

With the development of network technology, network storage technique isgaining attention. Using advantages of P2P technology in shared computing powerand storage capacity, build ing large-scale, highly reliable and high-performancestorage systems in high dynamic P2P network environment has become one of theimportant focus [1].This article introduces the genera l concept characteristics of distributed storagefirstly, and then studies existing P2P technique deeply. On the basis of this, a P2Pbased distributed storage system-Ca mpusSea rcher is designed. The article describesthe principle and structure of CampusSearcher. The basic idea of CampusSearcher isthat collect the spare computer in campus on the Internet using P2P technology toform a scalable, highly reliable, high-performance, low-cost distributed storagesystem. After that, the article studies the implementation of CampusSearcher, andanalyzes the constructing and searching algorithm of CampusSearcher Systemtheoretica lly, and tests the expenses of location of CampusSearcher throughexperiments. Research and experiments show that, CampusSearcher owns strong selfbuildcapacity, good search performa nce and system scalability, which has greatstrengths and a good prospect in information sharing.
