Stochastic Resonance (SR) not only can be used in detecting feeble signals, but also can be used in recovering waveforms contaminated by noise. However, how to adjust SR's parameters of bistable system and recovery system has always been a big problem in signal processing. Therefore, this paper mainly studies the recovery of the bistable system output waveform. On one side, this study will play an important role in developing and completing the theory of SR technique, on the other side, the study has a great meaning in the guiding of engineering applications.As the recovery process in this paper consists of two systems: bistable system and recovery system, firstly, this paper studies the bistable system, discusses the character of bistable system and bistable stochastic resonance, and analyzes the different factors which are related to SR. Then it gives some information of the SR of the small-parameter and large-parameter signal, and does some research in adjusting parameters of single potential as well as bistable transition resonance.The function of the recovery system was made both from the particle's dynamics and the signal processing. By the discussion on the signal recovery courses of the signals with different amplitude, this paper studies the pulse distortion appearing the recovery waveform caused by the particle's transitions at the bistable potential, then gives some advice in how to avoid waveform distortion.Since the recovery process has already been studied, next this paper analyzes the system parameters in both bistable system and recovery system, especially the recovery system's parameters, then gives some suggestion in adjusting these parameters and proves this method with simulation. At last, the paper gives different recovery methods towards two different signals.After a comprehensive summary of the method of signal recovery and parameter adjustment, when people put it into practice in the field of engineering cutting signal, it has been proved that this method can be used in the SR signal recovery by both theoretic numerical simulation and engineering data analysis.
