A Study On The Religions Of The Miao Nationality In The Festival

The host of Ghab Nangl Dliangl Lusheng Festival is a local Hmong clan-the Wu clan. The origin, history and development of Ghab Nangl Dliangl Lusheng Festival are all related to the Wu clan. The research about the relationship between Ghab Nangl Dliangl Lusheng Festival and the Wu clan might provide a unique perspective about the transition and development of the Hmong clan and Hmong traditional festival. Ghab Nangl Dliangl Lusheng Festival is not an ancestor worship ceremony of the Wu clan, but a kind of both carnival and agricultural ceremony for the all Hmong people. The research about the role and organization of the Wu clan in the Lusheng Festival would offer a way to find the reason of how the lineage organization of the Wu clan can be preserve well in modern society. This research can also provide a method about how to protect and development the tradition culture of Hmong with the help of Hmong clans. The investigation in Zhouxi Town is the primary source of the information, and the author also collected information from literature.The first part of the article is an introduction about Zhouxi Town, such as the location, environment, population and economy, and also a comparison study between current status of Hmong group and the preservation of traditional culture with the period which after the funding of new China. The second part is information about the history and current situation of the Wu clan. The third part is the Wu clan’s role in Ghab Nangl Dliangl Lusheng Festival, the 2015 ceremony of Ghab Nangl Dliangl Lusheng Festival has been taken as an example. The Wu clan has responsibilities for the ceremony, such as fund collection, preparation for activities and kept order. The forth part is about how the inheritance of Ghab Nangl Dliangl Lusheng Festival and the transition of the lineage organization of Wu clan impact each other. The forth chapter discussed the transition of Ghab Nangl Dliangl Lusheng Festival’s function, the Wu clan’s positive effect for the festival, and in the process of holding the festival, the rebuild of lineage organization and the inheriting of clan tradition culture. The conclusion:both the Ghab Nangl Dliangl Lusheng Festival and the lineage organization of Wu clan benefit in the process of interaction and mutual construction.
