The Study Of Web Distributing Mass Image Data Based On WebGIS

The data in traditional information management on oilfield is generally provided as plotting paper or vector figure, which is difficultly maintained or commonly shared. So in this thesis, it is advised that satellite photography be the form of data on oilfield, and web distribute it based on WebGIS. this system selects ArcIMS as its network platform, and designs distributed spatial data system framework based on J2EE.The thesis includes seven chapters. Chapter 1 presents an introduction and background information of the study. Chapter 2 discusses the theories of organizing and managing mass Image data. Chapter3 introduces the technologies of web distributing mass image data. Chapter 4 introduces the development network platform. Chapter 5 introduces the software design, structure and system accomplishment. Chapter 6 tests functional modules of the system. The last part is conclusions and advices.The main achievements of this thesis are as follows:1.Aims at the features of the mass image data, we perform the requirement analysis, research the technology of web distributing and execute system selection.2.Based on ArcGIS development platform, we design the architecture of the web distributing system.3.we devise the functional modules particularly.4.We put up the ArcIMS service platform, combinating the technologies of tomcat, arcims4.0.1, jdk1.4,we test and develop the web distributing environment5.On the foundation of establishing map with "author", publishing image service with "administrator" and designing the web site, we develop second control with ArcIMS and accomplish the functional modules.6.we test the functional modules, developing speed and perform behavior analysis.
