As an interactive system which connects telephone and computer together, the Interactive Voice Response(IVR) system is broadly applied. An Internet-based IVR is presented in this thesis which gives out the model and realization means for the IVR to work. In this model, a local Voice Server is used to compound voice, broadcast voice, receive Dual Tone Multi Frequency(DTMF) code and perform concurrent working ; in the meantime, some mature internet technologies such as routing, Virtual Private Network(VPN) along with thread technology are also used to carry out valid, reliable access to remote database . In realizing the model, A D/300PCI-E1 board is adopted as the core component of Voice Server and GlobalCall?API offered by Dialogic is applied as the platform for software development. This model has been demonstrated working well by experiment. |
