Research Of The Polarizing Character Of SRS In The Silico-Single Mode Fiber

In the paper, transmission loss, polarizing and nonlinear characters (chiefly about SRS spectrum) in highly single mode silicon elliptical optical fiber and circular optical fiber are experimentally and theoretically researched. We gave measuring principal and experimental setup.The 8-order spectrum of SRS in elliptical optical fiber and the 12-order spectrum of SRS in circular optical fiber are observed. We analyzed the polarizing character, threshold condition, Raman shift of SRS in different polarizing pumping light. In addition, the empirical formulas on stimulated Raman scattering are given. Theoretical analyses and experimental results are in good agreement. Some of these results have not been seen both home and abroad.
